Lua Functions

Sandcat Extensions, Tasks and Console commands can execute Lua code with all its standard functions, including file IO support.

Custom Lua libraries available in Sandcat but not normal Lua:

• Browser Library - Core browser functions
• Tab Object - Methods and properties of a browser tab
• OSR Object - Creates Off-Screen Chromium Renderer processes
• Console Library - Sandcat Console functions
• ExtensionPack Object - Reads Sandcat Extension (.scx) pack files
• UI Objects - Used to extend and manipulate the Sandcat user interface
• App Library - Application and window functions
• Prefs Library - Sandcat Preferences functions
• Task Object - Available from within an isolated process of a Sandcat Task
• Sandcat Object - Some additional Sandcat functions

Additional libraries included with Sandcat:

• Catarinka Library - Includes several useful functions and classes that make the development of Sandcat extensions easier
• Underscript Library - Allows you to drop in code in several different languages and execute them as part of an extension.
