The Birth of DaragonTech: Syhunt’s AI Division Becomes an Independent Company - Syhunt announces that its former AI research division, Mechas, has become an independent European company under the name DaragonTech (https://daragon.tech), and that both organizations entered today into a long-term cooperation agreement that includes the transfer of all Mechas-related intellectual property - such as the Mechas platform, its source code and trademarks. While Syhunt retains full ownership of its cybersecurity solutions and brands, DaragonTech will take full responsibility for developing and commercializing the Mechas platform, providing Syhunt with non-onerous access to beta builds, ongoing updates, annual commercial licenses, and royalty-free white-label and integration rights for the duration of the agreement. DaragonTech will also share AI-related best practices and insights that can enhance Syhunt’s products, and despite not being a distributor, will collaborate with Syhunt’s partner network whenever mutually beneficial - ensuring strong technical synergy while allowing both companies to advance independently in their respective domains. Syhunt Transitions Mechas Into DaragonTech - Syhunt is pleased to announce an important milestone in the evolution of its AI initiatives. Our AI research division (known as Mechas) has officially become an independent European company under the name DaragonTech (https://www.daragon.tech), and both organizations are now beginning a new phase of strategic cooperation as separate but closely aligned partners. This transition strengthens our ability to innovate while ensuring that each company can focus on its own specialized mission.
With this change, Satu Ohara, Syhunt’s original AI executive, has returned to the role of AI CEO, succeeding Allasha Gellinger, who will now dedicate her leadership fully to DaragonTech as its CEO. We recognize Allasha’s impactful contributions during her tenure at Syhunt and look forward to continued collaboration with her team.

Syhunt API scanner adds support for Postman Collections - Syhunt has expanded its Syhunt API scanner with support for Postman Collections (versions 1.0, 2.0 and 2.1) — allowing dynamic security testing directly from Postman files. Syhunt to Launch API Security Scanner at Mind The Sec 2025 - For the first time, Syhunt will sponsor Mind The Sec 2025, Latin America’s largest cybersecurity event, taking place September 16–18 at the Transamerica Expo Center in São Paulo, Brazil. At the event, Syhunt will debut Syhunt API (codenamed Endpoints) - a new API security scanner that helps businesses protect exposed endpoints from real-world attacks. Syhunt Hybrid 7.1.6.5 now detects the ToolShell backdoor in SharePoint -Syhunt today released Syhunt Hybrid 7.1.6.5, an update that adds automated detection of the newly disclosed “ToolShell” backdoor (CVE-2025-53770 / CVE-2025-53771) affecting on-premises Microsoft SharePoint Servers. Syhunt Hybrid 7.1.6 adds support for macOS Sequoia on Apple Silicon -We’re pleased to announce that Syhunt Hybrid 7.1.6 is now officially compatible with macOS Sequoia on Apple Silicon. While the Carbon version of Syhunt Hybrid — built for macOS using Wine — has long supported Intel-based Macs, this release confirms seamless operation on Apple Silicon devices via Rosetta, supporting Sequoia and earlier versions of macOS. In addition, we’ve released updated installation guides for users who prefer virtualization. Syhunt Hybrid 7.1.6 can now run on ARM64 Linux distributions within macOS using Parallels Desktop.
